Custom Wine Cellars Newport Beach Coast California – Library Job (A Processed Video Transcription)
Happy New Year and welcome to Customs Wine Cellars! I am going to take you on a tour today of a very detailed custom wine cellars Newport Beach Coast California that is right between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach in Southern California. There are a lot of details for this particular design, so in the follow up video I will share the before and after photographs with you.
This is an exquisite home; it is actually a guest home, an entertainment residence that was constructed next to the primary residence in Newport Beach Coast. This is an awesome home with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean that were dwarfed by the incredible features found in this home and custom wine cellar. The whole wine cellar design process to the production and delivery date was almost three years today and the house was actually under construction.
Everybody that comes to Coastal Custom Wine Cellars regardless of whether or not you have a highly detailed, very large wine room such as this one, or if you just have a closet we are able to provide the same sort of details necessary to help you design your own wine cellar and help you get a great visual of the finished product.
Let’s have a quick tour of the wine cellar design of this 4,086 bottle capacity custom wine cellars. This is an overhead view of the room, and you can see it is quite large. It is actually 13 by 20; it is 200 by 60 square feet and just about 10-foot ceiling heights.
All of the elevations are labeled A, B, C and so on. The entrance is right in this area and we will take a look on each individual elevation. A lot of wood case storage was required by the client and a lot of horizontal display for large format bottles like 3L and 6L bottles.
All of these areas down below the display row are for wooden cases or it can be used for bulk wine storage. More of these icons here represent wooden cases. These little areas right here are niches that were created to store library style rolling ladders, and there are actually two for this wine room.
You might guess anything that is over 8 feet in height is difficult for most of us to get to so we supplied the two ladders and the track for the entire wine cellar. We also included what we called an earthquake tilt; Southern California is prone to earthquakes so inside each bottle opening of the single bottle storage racks, you can see here from this blow up detail all the racks or the bottle supports tilts slightly backwards.
There’s a lot of horizontal displays, and when we get to the 3D drawings you can see how all of these ties together. A lot of dimensions were posted and shared with us because this custom wine cellars Newport Beach Coast California has a ducted air handler which simply means there are vent openings for the cold air supply and the cold air return. So we have to be sure that we did not impede the air flow into the wine room.
Now we get into the 3D overhead view drawings. Here is the entrance, as you enter and look straight you’ll actually see thorough a series of arches until you get to back area. All of the wood cases are on rollers for easy access. You can also see how the arches are laid out and we essentially created aisles much like a library of wines. Cheers!
